Service Agreement
1. Scope of Services
Turklingua provides professional translation, interpreting, and localization services. All assignments are executed in accordance with ISO 17100 standards unless otherwise specified in writing. We reserve the right to engage qualified native-speaking contractors who are bound by the same quality and confidentiality standards as our internal staff.
2. Client Obligations
The client is responsible for providing clear instructions, reference materials, and glossaries where applicable. Turklingua cannot be held liable for errors resulting from ambiguous or incorrect source text provided by the client.
3. Delivery & Deadlines
Deadlines are binding only if confirmed in writing by a Turklingua Project Manager. While we maintain a 99% on-time delivery rate, we are not liable for delays caused by Force Majeure or technical failures beyond our reasonable control.
4. Payment Terms
Standard payment terms are net 30 days from the date of invoice for corporate accounts. For new clients or high-value projects, a deposit or advance payment may be required. Late payments are subject to standard statutory interest rates.
5. Confidentiality & Data Protection
Turklingua treats all client documents as strictly confidential. We utilize 256-bit SSL encryption and secure server environments. Data is processed in compliance with global data protection regulations (GDPR) and institutional NDAs.
6. Liability & Claims
Claims for defects must be submitted in writing within 14 days of delivery. Our liability is limited to the invoice value of the specific assignment. Turklingua is not liable for consequential damages or lost profits.
